Vingt-Cinq is a French series that will be broadcast on OCS this fall. Born from the imagination of Bryan Marciano, this series makes us reflect on the difficulties of youth and what it entails. A questioning of what we really are at 25, what have we done concretely? What are we going to do next?
Synopsis : Jeremy is not recovering from his breakup with his childhood love. Surrounded by his group of childhood friends, he starts from scratch. Between humiliations, mistakes, and first times failed, as they approach 30 years, the small band realizes that they have not yet accomplished anything.
Youth is not always easy, it is the period when all our choices will follow us for life. You have to take responsibility and act with your future in mind. Here, we find Jeremy, a 25-year-old, completely lost following his breakup with his ex, accompanied by his childhood friends more different than each other. We will follow their adventures in an atmosphere of perpetual questioning.
At 25 years old, the existential questions are multiple, Jeremy wonders if he has really accomplished something concrete in his life, if it has a meaning without his love of youth who has just left him. Everyone is moving forward except him. On the other hand we find his best friend Alex. Always sympathetic, he advocates a libertarian life without constraints. Obsessed with the idea of succeeding in entrepreneurship and making millions through a genius idea, he fled Sarcelles where he came from to "build his empire". However, this utopian dream is difficult to achieve with weaknesses such as the taste for play, easy money and the refusal of authority.
Then there is Adrien, a normal boy with a normal life. He has a job, a fiancée and everything seems to be going well for lu. Only behind this façade hides a repressed malaise. Adrien didn't have time to be a teenager and enjoy life. To finish with this complex group of friends, we find Jonas, a handsome kid from a wealthy family. If you listen to him, his sex life is all that is hectic but this appearance seems to hide a real search for who he really is.
A series that transports us to the heart of the problems that each of us can encounter at 25 years old. Life is not always easy, you have to face your problems while growing personally. A complex but touching story that we can't wait to discover this fall on OCS.
