The series, The Good Place will return in September on the American channel NCB and on Netflix. On the program of this new season, a new living environment for Eleanor and her acolytes. Warning, spoilers.
After two seasons at the Good Place (which finally was not so much), Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jianyu will be back for a season 3 that will take place… on Earth! The end of season 2 indeed let him guess, and Michael Schur, the showrunner of the show confirmed this information in an interview with Rolling Stones.
According to Michael Schur, our four heroes will find themselves on Earth, in a kind of parallel universe in which they will be, still alive. We immediately imagine that the objective will be to define if they have really become good people. We expect to discover our four heroes in their daily lives, before their death. What will we miss the most? Eleanor's stepless house, and the "Merle's Gossip!"
But the fact of no longer being in the Right Place will result in the loss of the entire magical universe of the series, at least that's what you might think. But Michael Schur promises to have found, with his team, "a great way to keep this idea, even while on Earth." The fantastic and magic, characteristic of the Good Place, is a bit the essence of the series. We can't wait to see how the filmmakers will bring them to Earth!
Will Eleanor fall back into her ways, which we knew her during her human life? Will she and Chidi fall in love again? Many questions remain unanswered. We will have to wait until September to discover this season 3 of The Good Place on Netflix!
