Outlander returns to our screens on September 10th on Netflix. This is therefore an opportunity to take stock to start this third season.Otherwise, it can be useful for newcomers who want to know what it is all about!

What is Outlander?
The TV series is an adaptation of the hit saga written by Diana Gabaldon. It features Claire (Caitriona Balfe), a war nurse, who is on her second honeymoon with Frank (Tobias Menzies) in Scotland. Claire will find herself propelled in 1743 in the Scottish countryside where stories of property and espionage reign. Outlander has been streaming on Starz since 2014 and on Netflix France in H+24.
Season 1 – 16 episodes
The first season deals with Claire and Frank's arrival in Scotland after World War II. We follow the accidental arrival of Claire in 1743 and her evolution in this era. Initially mistaken for an English spy, she will have to succeed in gaining the confidence of the Scottish lairds if she wants to survive. Claire will also meet Jamie (Sam Heugan), a man who will not leave her indifferent.

Let's go to the France for this second season! Indeed, Jamie and Claire have a great mission to accomplish and very little time to achieve it. This season marks the arrival of Fergus (Romann Berrux), a character who will become important. Who says France, says Versailles and our characters will taste the court of the king. Another season full of twists and turns.
