Doctor Who is finally back! After a long wait, it's time for fans to discover this new season, with the added bonus of the first female Doctor !
After three seasons with the incredible Peter Capaldi, it's time to welcome a new Doctor ! And it is the fantastic Jodie Whittaker, seen in Broadchurch or Black Mirror, who will take over.
New companions!
And she won't be alone in joining the TARDIS! Indeed, three new companions will be present in the adventure at his side. In the trailer revealed by the BBC during the half-time of the final France-Croatia, three characters appeared. First Graham, played by Bradley Walsh (London, criminal investigation), and then Yasmin Khan, played by Mandip Gill (Hollyoaks). Finally, a third person will accompany him: Ryan Sinclair, played by Tosin Cole (Star Wars VII).We don't know much about their lives, personalities or roles with the Doctor yet, but we can't wait to find out more!
Some new features…
With the beginning of the comic-con, we learned a little more about the novelties in this season! In addition to a new Doctor and new companions, we also have a new sonic screwdriver unveiled in a new promo photo!
But that's not all. This season could even be a reboot of the series !
