Let's go for the final stretch of Pretty Little Liars: more than 10 episodes before the grand finale of the series. Tuesday night was broadcast Playtime, the eleventh episode of season 7, which launches the ultimate game of -AD… Our opinion!

The last episode of season 7 before the break had left us with a lot of unanswered questions: how will Spencer, Toby and Yvonne fare? Is Mary Drake really Spencer's mother? What else does Jenna do in this series? Who is AD? First positive point of the episode: we are quickly fixed on the fate of our heroes, and above all, we know very quickly who is the real mother of Spencer.

The relationships between the characters evolve…

Indeed, from the first part of the episode, Veronica Hastings is back, and very quickly, Spencer decides to confront her to find out who her mother really is… And she is the daughter of Mary Drake and Peter Hasting (who had confused her with Jessica, Alison's mother… This family is starting to get complicated). But that's not the only relationship that's being explored here. First, Hannah and Caleb, who seem happier than ever, with Caleb more conciliatory towards Hannah than ever. Another almost beautiful relationship, Hannah and Mona, with the latter who helps him in his dream of becoming a stylist. Despite a small skirmish over Mona's true position in the team, things seem to be getting better. Let's hope to see her more often afterwards! Where things get tough is between Ezra and Aria, still engaged but not really ready for a wedding, and in the Alison-Emily-Paige triangle, where tension continues to rise. Note the return of Holden, character of season 3, which brings a little more to the episode!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS - "PlAytime" - After Noel Kahn's abrupt death, the Liars try putting their lives back together again in "Playtime," the first of the final ten episodes of Freeform's hit original series "Pretty Little Liars," airing TUESDAY, APRIL 18 (8:00 - 9:02 p.m. EDT). Fans can catch up on where the Liars left off with an all-day marathon of season seven starting at 11:00 a.m. EDT and running up to the one-hour spring premiere at 8:00 p.m. EDT. … But the real game begins

The most important part of the episode is the beginning of Liar's Lament, the ultimate game created by AD to harass the 5 girls. Despite the prohibition of the other 4, Spencer begins to play, and obtains in return for a visit to Toby a letter from his biological mother… The game was not really the focus of this episode, but should be in the future! Another important passage, Jenna, who is still around, learns a little more about this game… And given the trailer of the next episode, she will be more than involved!

This eleventh episode of Pretty Little Liars sets the foundations for the end of the series, which will continue to be broadcast every Tuesday night on the American channel Freeform, until the famous episode 22. Trailer of the next episode:
