The long-awaited second part of the French series, a worldwide success, LUPIN, composed of 5 episodes was released on June 11.
An expected sequel for the French series on Netflix
In January, we left Assane Diop (Omar Sy) in Etretat in bad shape. While searching for his missing son, kidnapped by Pellegrini's henchman, he found himself facing Lieutenant Guedira. This final scene had the air of a duel between Lupin and Ganimard, often illustrated in the novels of Maurice Leblanc. It is moreover, against all odds, that we find at the beginning of this second part these two characters team up to find the son of Assane. This will be followed by the preparation of Assane's revenge against Pelligrini promising many twists and turns that only Arsène Lupin has the secret to achieve his ends.
A plot focused on Paris
This second part, between present and flashbacks of Assane's life in the 90s, where we discover his initiation to flight among others, continues to make us travel through Paris and understand that every detail can have its importance in the execution of his revenge. Despite some rather hollow episodes in the middle of this second part, where the pace is not as sustained as the other episodes, we can say that the continuation of the LUPIN series keeps its promise and delights us once again. We can't wait to see what the rest of Lupin's adventures has in store for us because if you didn't know, a third part is already in preparation and is coming soon to Netflix!
