The Legion series, created by Noah Fawley (Fargo), is based on the Marvel comic book of the same name and takes place in the X-Men universe. It follows the character of David Haller – played by Dan Stevens (a.k.a Matthew Crowley in Downton Abbey) – diagnosed with schizophrenia from an early age and interned in several psychiatric hospitals. One day, his meeting with another patient will make him realize that the voices he hears and the visions he has are not symptoms of his illness, and could turn out to be true.

The cast also includes Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation), Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder and Bill Irwin.
