Episode 4 of Falcon and the Winter Soldier is for now the best chapter of this season 1. Still directed by Malcolm Spellman, the series accelerates, while the stakes are becoming more and more precise. Focus:

Falcon and the Winter Soldier: the evolution of some characters

While the first three episodes were slightly lacking in ambition, this fourth chapter is for now the best proposal of the series. The intentions of the show are becoming clearer, while this new opus decides to move more towards action. Exit the recurring blabla of the first episodes, this time, the viewer is immersed in the heart of the matter. Sam and Bucky have their work cut out for them, while dangers come from all sides. Between the new Captain America, the Flag Smashers, the Dora Mijales and of course Baron Zemo, the stakes multiply and begin to become clearer. Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 4: currently the best chapter of the series The new representation of Zemo is quite interesting. The former supervillain makes unexpected decisions, which obviously advocate a character change, or even the beginning of redemption. The famous antagonist prefers to destroy the doses of the supersoldier's serum rather than inject it himself. A decision that comes in contrast to that of John Walker (the new Captain America) who, helpless, feels obliged to administer the doping product, becoming in turn a super-soldier. The evolution of these two characters is therefore quite exciting and full of surprises. The treatment of this new Captain America is intriguing, taking the protagonist down a dark road, in which this new hero may quickly get lost. He knows that he is no match for the countless supers, and therefore decides to crack in the face of greed. But this new strength will take him to a violent road.

What's next?

This episode puts some butter back in the spinach. While the first chapters lacked rhythm, incidence and strength, this fourth opus allows to revive the machine widely. The conclusion of this episode 4 promises heavy for the rest of the series. John Walker's change of course should logically lead to important dramatic elements. An interesting change of tone, which takes the protagonist into a darker, more violent and much deeper approach. The US Agent is gaining importance and should gradually turn into an ambiguous and dangerous antagonist. Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 4: currently the best chapter of the series Overall, Falcon and the Winter Soldier remains rather anecdotal, and sorely lacks depth, even rhythm. We hope that the last two chapters of the show will raise the whole, and will offer an explosive conclusion to Falcon and the Winter Soldier… https://youtu.be/X_mSpyPVVzk
