2018 Emmy Awards: "Game of Thrones" gets its crown back

The biggest distinction in terms of television series, the Emmy Awards were awarded to their worthy owners last night. Discover with us the complete list of winners of the ceremony!

The hour of success has once again sounded very loud for Game of Thrones ! The HBO series won Best Drama for the third time in four years, reclaiming the title at The Handmaid's Tale ; And this is not the only prize that has been awarded to him. Actor Peter Dinklage was also awarded the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor for his character Tyrion Lannister. If we count "only" two trophies for the series, they are still proof that the Game of Thrones recipe still works as well.

In the Comedy category, it's almost unsurprising The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel who takes everything in his path. The Amazon series has been rewarded with five trophies including of course that of the Best Comedy. For limited series, it is one of Ryan Murphy's jewels, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which leaves with three awards, including Best Limited Series.

Many talented series, actresses, actors, screenwriters, directors came away losing. Among them, we will note among others The Handmaid's Tale, which was crowned winner last year and raises its head only thanks to Samira Wiley as Best Female Guest in a Drama, Patrick Melrose, for whom the casting of Benedict Cumberbatch has obviously not been enough, or the revival of Twin Peaks that leaves empty-handed… As for the Netflix series, Stranger Things and Ozark leave again empty-handed.
