Just Focus announced this to you a year ago. Matt Groening, creator of the cult series The Simpsons and Futurama returns with a new series. In 10 episodes of 20 to 25 minutes, Matt Groening builds a whole new world of heroic fantasy. It is an adult universe that features a ruined medieval kingdom called Dreamland. With her companions Elfo the Elf and Luci the Demon, she will have many adventures and will have to fight a whole army of fantastic creatures. John DiMaggio, the American voice of Bender (Futurama) describes this series as the child of The Simpsons and Game of Thrones. He added: "It's fantastic. It's right at the right time… It's very, very funny. The actor will give his voice to the King of Dreamland.
Disenchantment, a future cardboard?
So far, Matt Groening has had some success with his creations. The Simpsons have been on screen for over 30 years and Futurama has had 14 years of broadcasting. The new series takes some elements stitched from its big sisters. First we find the very recognizable style of Matt Groening's characters. The heroine, Bean, loves alcohol as much as Homer or Bender. The show will also be very irreverent and critical of society. He will talk about "life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders, magicians and other morons may tell you.The cast of the series is composed of Abbi Jacobson (Bean), Nat Faxon (Elfo), Eric Andre (Luci), John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche…
