While season 2, available on Netflix since May 18, 2018, deposits an incline of immense enthusiasm on the web, the questions on a third part of 13 Reasons Why do not escape. Season 3 or not, the collaborators answer.
"If there is an opportunity to make a season 3, I will not hesitate to take it"
The series that had been talked about just a year ago, relaunches its success with a second season of the most breathless. 13 Reasons Why returns to the platform by following the lives of young people at Liberty High, 5 months after Hannah Baker's suicide. The story points this time to the lawsuit against the high school opened by the mother of the young deceased. Testimonials, evidence, threats, season 2 is full of information to which is added a novelty subject to mystery: polaroid photos. Clay and his comrades will have to face new puzzles, in this season that is no less sweaty than the previous one.
And who says season 2, says possible season 3. At least that's what the millions of subscribers on the world's leading streaming platform hope. Dylan Minette, the interpreter of Clay Jenson, told the media Melty that he would be ready to go back on the sets for new episodes:
"I think we're all up for it if (show creator) Brian Yorkey feels there are other stories to tell about these characters. If he wants to know more about Clay, then I want to know more about Clay. And on all the other characters. So if there will only be two seasons or more, I have no idea, but I'm up for it, if it happens!" he said.
It is with an answer similar to that of her colleague, that Katherine Langford, who plays the character of Hannah Baker, answers this same question.
But it is more to the main interested, Brian Yorkey, one of the showrunners of 13 Reasons Why, that we must trust. According to his words addressed to Première, the creator would suggest that a third part would be presumed. He first says he is "relieved to be done with season 2, and to be able to show it to the world". He also admits to loving the characters, and the story told through this series. A show that he likes, and which could, according to him, be extended by a sequel in the coming months: "If there is an opportunity to make a season 3, I will not hesitate to seize it".
