Pico Bogue returns a twelfth time with his Inseparable friends

Inseparable is the title of the twelfth album of the daily misadventures of the facetious Pico Bogue, his little sister Ana Ana (who also has her series for the little ones), their parents and friends. And as usual, it is a pleasure each time renewed to immerse yourself for a few moments in this timeless world in this dreary period. When Dargaud Editions got their hands on Alexis Dormal (cartoonist) and Dominique Roques (scriptwriter and mother of the former), they probably did not suspect the success of these endearing paper characters who perpetuate the tradition of Little Nicolas, Peanuts and other Calvin & Hobbes. But it is. And as with any self-respecting series, even if we can sometimes have a feeling of repetition or "less good", we find with pleasure these fictional friends to whom we have become attached over time.

Friends first

This time, the authors focus more particularly on making us better know Pico's friends, especially Charlie who would like so much to have oral fluency like his boyfriend and who would dream of shining too by his verve. Pico will help him to be himself and understand that he must accept himself as he is rather than trying to become another. But we also find what makes the paw of the series, thanks to the little gags and verbal jousts that the devious redhead can have with his very philosophical parents or his little sister who still does not let herself be counted despite her young age. Planche pico Pico Bogue returns a twelfth time with his Inseparable friends If Inseparable is probably not the best volume of the series and if we sometimes have the feeling that it is just a little less funny, because we are now used to it, the fact remains that it remains a pleasure to spend time in this universe where we know everyone and with whom we spend a very pleasant moment of relaxation.
