An amnesiac hero
One evening, an armed group arrives to capture Berg, he manages to flee, but the nearby highway is fatal. Creating an accident, he was hit in the head by a piece of heavy weight. It's a pretty quick ending for a comic book hero, but death is just the beginning… 
Religions speak of life after death, resurrection, and they fall quite right, with the difference that it is not on the same Earth… Berg wakes up with one of his attackers in a world at war with werewolves. He dies again and this time finds himself in World 9999, the base of operations of Mt. The mount is a kind of secret organization that travels through the infinity of parallel worlds.
Pécau and Kordey: a duo of shock
Jean-Pierre Pécau, who we know for L'Histoire Secrète, Jour D or Indochine, signs here a SF comic book that assumes that parallel worlds exist and that to travel there you have to die. Only some, who call themselves travelers, keep their memories by passing from one world to another. The latter are recruited by Mt. He manages to use the postulate of parallel worlds but adding this originality of the means of transport. Troubles also travel from one world to another. The death of an adversary does not necessarily mean its end. Igor Kordey, cartoonist of The Secret History, Marshall Bass or Colt & Pepper has a precise pencil stroke. His characters are lively and expressive. He also has a great imagination for the sets. In a Venice parallel with the classic canals, but also flying gondolas or on Terra 9999, an Earth where humans have been extinct for centuries. Anubis colorized this album, supervised by Igor Kordey. Colors are just as important as drawing in this universe of multiple worlds. 
This first volume makes you want to go further in the plot. He sets up the universe and the characters and takes his time to set the scene. We could blame him for the time it takes to get into history. We want to jump right into the plot. But this time is necessary if we do not want to be lost in the following volumes. The characters do not reveal all their personality, it will be necessary to wait to know precisely who are the three women who lead the mount. The same goes for Lee, her teammate, who looks professional and rather taciturn. In summary, this first volume of Mobius is full of promise for the future. The duo Pécau/Kordey, works perfectly if we look at the many volumes of The Secret History. And here they serve us a good story and beautiful drawings. We can't wait to discover the rest to make us dream of new worlds and societies different from the one we know.
