It was a bit by chance that we came across a major exhibition, the MARVEL: AGE OF HEROES EXHIBITION.Our original mission? Go to the summits of the Roppongi Hills Tower to admire the night lights that dress Tokyo with a thousand lights every night. But a side mission was added during the escalation… That of an unexpected exhibition. And as much to tell you that we accepted the challenge and that we did not regret the detour. Guided tour of the exhibition
At the corner of a floor, you may well be surprised by a giant replica of the armor of the famous CEO of Stark Industries. A welcome gift for curious visitors or fans of the first hour who never stop posing in front of the mastodon. The details are worked, the colors blaze with a thousand lights. Standing in the middle of the 51st floor, this armor will amaze the fan that you are but can scare the little ones with its imposing size. And if his build also impressed you, you will be just as amazed by the landscape that stands around this armor … An unobstructed view, overlooking the heights of one of the world's largest metropolises, Tokyo.
Little by little, the walls are colored and some of our favorite heroes appear. But also big names linked for eternity to the Marvel universe, like that of Stan Lee… If you have time, you can meet him through an interview at the beginning of the exhibition.This will be followed by a complete and enriching course where you can admire original plates or comics in their period edition. At the end of the course, you can even admire splendid artwork of your favorite Marvel characters!
By continuing your journey, you will make a most appreciable meeting, and on a human scale this time. Because what you can admire will be nothing more than 4 versions of armor (Mark I, Mark II, Mark III and Mark VII) created by the famous Tony Stark himself! Give it to your heart and do not skimp on selfies or photos in this space where for once, they are allowed. Treat yourself!
But the most interesting of this exhibition MARVEL: AGE OF HEROES
is yet to come… Because after this first passage in the world of comics, you will head to a small protected corner, where any photo or video – as during almost the entire exhibition – will be prohibited. And once there, you will have plenty of time to devour some costumes used during filming! You will have the pleasure of finding the costume of our national heroes Spiderman and Captain America, that of Loki (
Thor) or those of
Doctor Strange. Not to mention that you can also discover objects from the films The
Avengers,
Captain America – Civil War or
The Winter Soldier such as a notebook full of scribbles or military plaques. And of course, you will find throughout your visit, interviews with actors or screenwriters as well as many scenes from Marvel movies. All while having regularly admired the magnificent view of the city of Tokyo and its surroundings.
And if you feel like it, you will find a merchandising stand at the end of the zone. Many goodies await you to close this small exhibition in style!
