Although it bears the name of its male protagonist, the eponymous comic strip Jimmy Tornado will tell the adventures of Jimmy and his sister Guadalupé (diminutive Lupé). A concentrate of action that has all the weapons to seduce new generations.
This original project is distributed by Presses aventure, a division of the Modus group, a publishing house in Quebec. The first volume called "Atlas no longer answers", will be released in September 2017. It will be accessible to as many people as possible since it will cost 9.90 euros.
Jimmy Tornado, a duo composed of two special heroes!
In the manner of the greatest heroes of Franco-Belgian comics, this project led by Frédéric Antoine and Jean-François Vachon features a heterogeneous duo. The male hero is a gorilla with impressive physical characteristics. Hotheaded by nature, he can also be nonchalant. Her half-sister is radically different since she is distinguished by her precocity and rigor.
The two heroes will have to solve missions impossible for the others. Their travels will not be limited to one place on the planet since they will stop in Tokyo, Montreal or Antarctica.
An inspired creative team
Frédéric Antoine and Jean-Philippe Vachon have a difficult challenge. Succeed in imposing oneself in a market that is more than contested. Jimmy Tornado's creative team has a lot of experience in the field. The complementarity of the two artists should be optimal. Antoine's rhythmic scenario carried by Vachon's dynamic drawing, two strong arguments that will allow these new heroes to succeed in their first steps. That is all the good we wish for them.
