Japonismes 2018 is no less than 8 months of collaboration between the French and Japanese governments, to celebrate the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On this occasion, from July 2018 to February 2019, Japanese culture is in the spotlight in France: exhibitions, concerts, culinary art and Japanese art of living win the major cultural institutions of France.

And the Aquarium de Paris is not to be outdone! From September 13 to November 11, 2018, it invites you to discover the exhibition of the contemporary artist Aki KURODA, "Aquacity", in the form of a course extended on its 3500 m2 of surface! Paintings, sculptures and videos make up this absolutely unique exhibition.

In parallel with this exhibition, it is Luffy and his crew who storm the Aquarium de Paris! How to celebrate Japan, in this perfectly marine setting, without honoring the famous pirate with the straw hat?

From October 7 to November 30, the characters of One Piece invest the tour to offer you explanations on the Aquarium, creative workshops for children from 3 to 12 years old, and the broadcast of several episodes of the series, drawn, of course, from the arc of the Island of the Fishmen …
