The Last Of Us
It's confirmed, the series The Last Of Us on HBO is planned. Even if the official date is not yet confirmed, we do know the cast of the two actors who will play Ellie and Joël. As a reminder, The Last Of Us plunges us into a post-apocalyptic world where the two heroes must cross the United States to reach a hospital capable of developing a vaccine. Described as a masterpiece, the title has received numerous awards. Will it be the same for the series? Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont: Game of Throne) as Ellie and Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell: Game Of Throne, The Mandalorian) as Joel will do itall. His casting choices are not surprising, when we know that Carolyn Strauss, co-producer of Game Of Thrones, is also that of The Last Of Us.

Uncharted
Nathan Drake is back, not in a new adventure on Netflix or other platforms, but above all in the cinema. Originally announced in 2008, many adventures had greatly slowed production. But David O'Russell, the producer of the film has not given up and Sony plans its theatrical release on July 16, 2021. Completed last October, it will feature Tom Holland (Spider Man: Far for Home) who will play Nathan and Mark Wahlberg (Ted 1 & 2) who will play Sully. But also the famous Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali and Tati Gabrielle (The 100's).

Mortal Kombat
So here, we start on the very heavy. We all know the Mortal Kombat style: fighting, chaining and blood. Created in 1992 and adapted into a film, series and also anime, Mortal Kombat because of its atypical style, has made a place in the minds of players. Despite some hiccups in the cinema, the franchise returns in a brand new adaptation for this year. And what we can tell you is that there will be beautiful people. The production team consists of: Simon Mcquoid, James Wan (Aquaman, Saga Conjuring), Todd Garner (Black Storm) and E. Bennett Walsh (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Men in Black: International). 
Mortal Kombat will feature actors from film, TV and martial arts. We will find Lewis Tan (Deadpool 2), Jessica McNamee (In troubled waters), Mehcad Brooks (Supergirl), Ludi Lin (Aquaman), but also Josh Lawson and Tadanobu Asano. Not to mention the famous Scorpio played by Hiroyuki Sanada. Mortal Kombat is scheduled to hit theaters on April 7, 2021. Tomb Raider 2
Tomb Raider, whose first video game was released in 1998, quickly found its audience. From video games to cinemas, films have conquered fans from the very beginning. In 2018, a remake was produced and actress Alicia Vikander took up the torch. Unfortunately, the second opus whose filming had begun in April 2020 had to be interrupted as a result of the pandemic. Tomb Raider 2 was scheduled for March 19, 2021. However, there is a good chance that we will find Lara Croft before the end of the year, either in the cinema, or via SVOD platforms (Netflix and Amazon prime for example). However, no trailer, nor trailer unfortunately. So you will have to wait. 
The Witcher: Nightmare of the wolf
Literary support at the beginning, we were far from suspecting that The Witcher would be part of the video game adaptation and would be so successful. Produced by CD Projekt, the video game conquered players and propelled the franchise to the top of the world rankings. The success that the series The Witcher meets on Netflix is such, that the idea of an animated film has germinated in the heads of the producers. And it was in 2020 that production began. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will focus on Vesemir, Geralt's mentor and friend. Note that Vesemir will be present in season 2 of the series. No release date is yet announced for the anime, but it is very likely to appear on Netflix sometime in the year 2021. 
The Witcher: a season 2 planned on Netflix
Complicated start for the filming of season 2 of The Witcher. Between the halt of production due to the pandemic, and the injury of Henry Cavil (Geralt) at the end of the year – would the witcher's potions have failed? – Even so, it takes a lot more to stop our Geralt. Indeed, the new season consisting of 8 episodes is still scheduled for 2021.

Resident Evil, the reboot by Johannes Roberts
Resident Evil: Village scheduled for June 7, 2021, will be accompanied by the arrival of a new film. A reboot, to be more precise. The scenario will be directly inspired by the first two video games. Namely, Spencer Mansion and the "charming and welcoming" town of Raccoon City. 
Unpretentious casting
As for the casting, we note the presence of actors who are not very popular with the public. The cast consists of: Kaya Scodelario (Crawl, Labyrinth, Skins) who will play Claire Redfield, Robbie Amell (Flash, Upload) as Chris Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man 2) who will play Jill Valentine, Avan Jogia (Zombieland 2) who will give her features to Leon S. Kennedy and finally Tom Hopper (Umbrella Academy) who will make Albert Wesker. Not to mention the presence of Ada Wong and Dr. William Birkin played by Neil McDonough (Sonic). A reunion with "the dream team" which promises to be not bad at all. 
Johannes Roberts (The Door; 47 meter down) the film's producer, promises gore and fear in this reboot. His goal is to transcribe this oppressive and horrific atmosphere that we had lost with Paul W Anderson. J. Roberts said:
"It's going to be very, very scary. With this movie, I really want to go back to the first two games and recreate that terrifying, visceral vibe that I experienced when I first played them. This, while telling a deeply human story about a dying small American town. I want today's viewers to recognize themselves in this story."

The Cuphead Show will arrive on Netflix
