StarCraft, Blizzard's legendary RTS, will soon return in a remastered version to the delight of fans!
We are indeed in the era of the Remaster, and Blizzard is also tempted by this trend. Taking a classic, dusting it off to put it back on sale is, it is true, rather attractive for a developer. In this case, I confess to being enthusiastic about the idea of putting my curly fingers back on this master standard of real-time strategy, still played very actively around the world, whether online or in competition.
I still remember, fan of science fiction, young, full of hope in my future head to the fnac to buy me the collector's version of Starcraft first name. What did I have class with my t-shirt showing a beautiful Protoss.
On the program of this facelift : smoothed graphics, increased resolution, remastered sounds, improved online matchmaking. The "Brood war" expansion is included and will allow us to relive the beginnings of the Queen of Blades, played by Sarah Kerrigan.
It's scheduled for August 14 on PC and if you're excited and have never tasted Starcraft 1, know that the original game and its expansion are available for free on the Battle.net platform.
