Toxic Games announces that Q.U.B.E 2 will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. Q.U.B.E 2 thus succeeds its elder Q.U.B.E Director's Cut, a puzzle adventure game in 1st first person view.
"Q.U.B.E. 2 represents a huge leap forward for Toxic Games. For this second opus, we want to take the best of Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut and use it as a basis for work," said Dan Da Rocha, Director of Toxic Games. "On top of that, we want to offer a breathtaking audiovisual experience, complex new gameplay and an exciting story. We want Q.U.B.E. 2 is a complete set, a puzzle game based on a scenario, with remarkable realization, but with all the inventiveness that an independent studio brings.
Amelia Cross is your character, a British archaeologist who finds herself on an alien planet. Emma, another survivor will help you, so you will have to solve the puzzles that the Q will give you.U.B.E, a conscious monolithic structure. The Q.U.B.E uses alien technology to craft infinite puzzles in a changing environment. You will have to face and overcome the challenges to allow Amelia to return home. Q.U.B.E. 2, won the Best Gameplay and Game of the Year awards at Reboot Develop 2016. Between narration, reflection, bewitching sound design, music composed by David Housden, with fully dubbed characters and cutting-edge graphics with Unreal Engine 4…Q.U.B.E 2 could be the nugget of contemplative puzzle games!
Q.U.B.E. 2 will be released in early 2018 on PC via Steam and the Windows 10 Store, on PS4 via PlayStation Store and on Xbox One via the Xbox Store.
