Mewtwo made his grand appearance in Pokémon GO at the Pokémon GO Stadium event in Yokohama, Japan. The trainers present were able to fight against this long-awaited Legendary Pokémon and add it, with a little luck, to their Pokédex.
In the coming weeks, Mewtwo will be available worldwide with an all-new Exclusive Raid system! These Exclusive Raids are similar to existing Raids, with a few exceptions. Indeed, these Exclusive Raids, appear randomly in the Arenas. But, unlike classic Raids, you will be invited to join the Raid. To have the opportunity to be invited, you had to win a Raid in the Arena where the Exclusive Raid occurs. The invitations you will receive (remember to activate the notifications of the application !) will specify where and when the Raid takes place giving you time to organize before going.
Be aware that Mewtwo will be the first Pokémon in these Exclusive Raids, but more Pokémon may hatch in the Raid bud, found in these Exclusive Raids (another novelty!), in the coming weeks.
To celebrate the success of raids and the appearance of Legendary Pokémon, Trainers are once again given the opportunity to catch Lugia, Artikodin, Electhor , and Sulfura, as these four Legendaries are once again in Raids until August 31st.
