PearlAbyss and Kakao Games have just announced the arrival of the highly anticipated Kamasylvia expansion for Wednesday, September 27 after a week of maintenance.
This expansion is free and features new action-packed PVE content continuing the game's story. Thus, you will have new story quests and new side missions, allowing you to explore the history of the home regions of the different classes (For example, you will discover the Ranger or the Dark Blade and their relationship with the legendary Kamasylve tree).
Kamasylvia is the name of the new region of Black Desert Online. This region, the size of Calpheon, is composed of a huge elven forest – going all the way south of the Sanctuary of Hexe, from the Valtarra Mountains to the Shady Forest – and an Elf village : Old Tree of Wisdom. The place is dangerous, do not venture there alone, unless you have a very high level, it will facilitate teamwork. To celebrate this new region, new events like the Alchemist of Kamasylvia and Growth of a Kamasylve Tree will help you collect additional items.

A survival mode can be unlocked once some main quests are completed: The Altar of Training. You'll have to work cooperatively with your team to defend a sacred treasure against waves of increasingly powerful enemies. In total, five waves of enemies will have to be fought before the ultimate challenge: fight against the final boss: Ancient Puturum. In case of victory, you will win valuable items and pieces of equipment.
Finally, you can get Arduanatt a powerful new Pegasus mount of tier 9! Arduanatt is certainly the most graceful mount ever seen in the world of Black Desert. His special abilities include Wings of the Wind, which allows Arduanatt to hover after a double jump.
