The goal when creating the FIFA 18 soundtrack is to create an international soundtrack of reference, to revolutionize the game.
This new soundtrack is composed of more than 40 pieces by artists (from more than a dozen countries) and original music for the scenario of "The Adventure: The Return of Alex" on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In FIFA 18, in more detail, you will hear:
- New releases from international artists such as Lorde, alt-J, The War On Drugs, The National, Portugal. The Man, The xx, Belgian rapper Baloji, an unreleased song by the English rock band Django Django and exclusively a new explosive track from Run The Jewels.
- The new wave of Grime stars with tracks by Avelino with Skepta and Stormzy and a totally new anthem by Sneakbo with Giggs.
- Independent artists like Seattle-based electro duo ODESZA, English Slowdive and Australian songwriter Tash Sultana.
- Newcomers to FIFA include Los Angeles-born artist Sir Sly, English songwriter Tom Grennan and a new track from New Zealander Kimbra.
- New bands like alternative folk artist Mondo Cozmo, London duo IDER, British pop rockers The Amazons and Kovic, Bad Sounds and their 70s sound, Danish Off Bloom, British songwriter Rex Orange County and the eclectic collective Superorganism.
To mark the return of Alex Hunter in the Adventure an original music of Junkie XL has been added, she will be accompanied by Brazilian artists Leo Justi and Karol Conka, Colombians Bomba Estero and Systema Solar, the American rock band Weezer, and many more.
If you pre-order FIFA 18 you will have access to the new special edition FUT jerseys created by Capital Cities, Glass Animals, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bloc Party, Grouplove, Saint Motel, Zhu and Lemaitre.
