The Revera Corporation, game publisher and record label, and developer and musician VIRGO, have just announced that Water Planet, their first virtual reality title, will launch in early October on PC, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via Steam.
Water Planet is a first-person and virtual reality exploration game. The first visuals accompanied the rather original representations of VIRGO. The game relied on these characteristic visuals for the entire development of the game and VIRGO's Ocean Tech style, a mix of house, trance and future beats.
Water Planet takes place on a mysterious and distant blue planet, eerily resembling Earth. You will play as an interstellar traveler and will have to gather different resources in order to survive this expedition. Forgotten temples and monuments at the bottom of the oceans are just waiting for your visit. You will have to unravel the many mysteries of this planet while Gemini, the I.Has. On board, will guide you through these blue waters and submerged mountains.
The main features of the game are:
- An original soundtrack by VIRGO: this includes music from the EP Water Planet, accompanied by a musical atmosphere evolving over the levels, entirely composed and performed by VIRGO.
- An emotional plot: Come to the aid of Aqua, a friendly cybernetic jellyfish, as you gather resources on a distant planet.
- Gigantic levels: Explore huge bodies of water, climb liquid mountains and visit alien structures in an abandoned, blue-tinted world.
- Interactive music: Become one with the game's music by interacting with it in many ways.
- Goal indicators: In addition to the help provided by Gemini, your I.Has. On board, luminous spheres will be there to guide you.
