Vertigo was directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1952, and Microïds seems to have seen what to make a video game. Indeed, an agreement has been signed with Reeder Brand Management to recover the reproduction rights of Alfred Hitchcock's name and image as well as the elements of his film, Sueurs Froides.

For those who do not know Microïds, it is a French development studio, and is particularly known for one of its latest flagship games, Syberia 3.

Elliot Grassiano, VP Microïds says: "The adventure game is part of the great tradition of games developed by Microïds, combining one of the classics of the master of suspense with the know-how of Pendulo Studios. We want to offer players a video game that will become a staple of the genre. »

Pendulo Studios, is the creator of the Runaway saga as well as the upcoming adaptation of the Blacksad comic book. Microïds and Pendulo Studios are working closely together for a reinterpretation of the film Sueurs Froides, while trying to keep the special flavor of Alfred Hitchcock's film. Thus, the hero will be confronted with the vertigo of the body and the soul where his obsessions will lead him little by little towards the confusion between real and imaginary.

"After many years of mixing cinematic language with this interactive medium, and having created several thriller-oriented games, it is an honor and a huge challenge to adapt Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece into a video game. We work hard to meet the expectations of gamers and moviegoers. Felipe Gómez, CEO of Pendulo Studios, said.
