The Albion Online sandbox mmorpg is getting a canon update before its official release on July 17.
We can't repeat it enough, Albion Online is currently in final beta. Which means that the game continues to work on its gameplay and the ultimate deadline is getting closer. Hector is therefore the last major update and thus poses what will be the final version. Until July, there will only be bug fixes and balances that will be implemented. What's new in the Hector update?
The Black Market, the intelligent recycling of items!
We explained it to you a short time ago, the Black Market is in place. He is a formidable merchant who is based in Caerleon, the central capital of Albion. This NPC has a major role, that of buying items from players to give them back to the monsters and chests of the game. In this subtle game of supply and demand, the player becomes an actor in the online economy.
Restructuring of the Hellgates
A bit of facelift for the Hellgates with a thorough overhaul with the Hector update. It is in a pentagram-shaped map that the mini-bosses will be waiting for you. On the other hand, the Hellgates are experiencing a small revolution since they are accessible according to 3 levels of difficulty :
- Ash Hellgates in Green Areas
- Hellgates Burning in the Yellow Zones
- Infernal Hellgates in red and black zones
The Outlands are transforming
The Outlands, which represent the black areas of Albion and the GvG, are reworked to be ever more exciting and accessible. Ports and cities have been removed and access to the Outlands is now through a single portal, located in Caerleon. The resources have undergone some changes, which are listed below:
- Their distribution has been adjusted.
- The black areas now have higher enchantment rates.
- T8 resources are now only available in Tour de Guet territories!
With Hector, players will be able to have new mounts such as faction mounts : Undead, Morgana and Guardians. Giant Deer and Ancient Mammoths will also be able to leave a Fawn and a baby Mammoth. Once trained, these mounts will become respectively a Giant Deer and a Transport Mammoth.
Also find, a visual improvement of armor, the tutorial and the correction of various bugs.
