Warframe: The Plains of Eidolon expansion is available!

Digital Extremes, developer and publisher, offers a new open-world expansion for its online TPS Warframe with the Plains of Eidolon.

The great novelty is the arrival of the Open Zone system, imagined by Digital Extremes and which allows a new way of understanding the adventure. Plains of Eidolon is available in free-to-play on PC and should arrive later on PS4 and Xbox One next November. Here is a small trailer for the occasion:

Concretely, what will players be able to find in this expansion?

• A new warframe: Gara, the 34th Warframe, wields glass to break the will of his opponents. And to do this, you can count on its unique abilities: – Shattered Lash, to pierce its target with a deadly glass blade in a 180° motion – Splinter Storm, surrounds the enemy with swirling shards of glass – Spectrorage, which makes a ring of mirrors appear on a specific area – Mass Vitrify, which stretches a ring of molten glass, freezing the opponents who enter the circle.
• New weapons: Astilla (distance weapon), Volnus (distance heavy weapon) and Rifle (shurikens)
• New reinforcements: Argonak, Krohkur (blade) and Dual Krohkur (two blades)
• Fashionista: to parade, nothing like the Virago helmet and the new Syandana Hyalus by Gara. All the components of the warframe are available in-game while its schema will be the subject of a quest.
• Focus 2.0: system that modifies the Skill Tree to be optimized for combat. The operator can thus equip himself with armor and specific weapons, hidden in the caves of the plain.
• And also: the Skin Mag Deluxe, the Tonfa Deluxe and the Syandana, the collection of resources with "the stonefish", new decorations for ships and a new weapon from Grineer, new postures and new mods.
