The returns of cult series have not been successful in recent years. Season 10 of X-Files did not win the votes of the majority of fans. Nevertheless, Fox is relaunching its show for what should be Mulder and Scully's last dance trick. X-Files season 11 will land in January 2018.
The last edition of New York Comic-Con was rich in news for pop culture enthusiasts. The first images of the next salvo of Files were leaked this weekend. The plot should take place directly after the final episode of last season. According to TVLine, adjustments have been made in the creative teams of the series to fill the lack of diversity of the previous season.
The trailer is rather pleasant to see and shows that our two agents will focus on the search for their son William, while saving the world…At a time when networks no longer know how to say goodbye to classics or their star productions (would good writers only be on cable or streaming platforms), what will be the future of the series?
We just hope that the channel will avoid possible spin-offs and brilliantly conclude one of the classics of science fiction on the small screen.
