San Diego Comic-Con hosted the first trailer for Season 2 of Westworld, the latest HBO event series.
This is the chaos that awaits visitors and hosts of Westworld Park in this second season. We find in the trailer some characters who are already familiar to us, in the heart of an atmosphere of destruction and severe rebellion. First, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood, more badass than ever) and Teddy (James Marsden) roam the plains of the park on horseback, apparently slaughtering everyone in their path. But the question is: who, humans or droids, are they trying to eliminate? We also find Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) in front of a mysterious tiger corpse, or Maeve (Thandie Newton) and Lee (Simon Quarterman) contemplating the floor of the park headquarters strewn with bloodied corpses. Finally, we are offered a close-up on the face of William aka The Man in Black in the guise of Ed Harris, for whom the park seems to barely become really interesting. All carried by the music I've Gotta Be Me by Sammy Davis Jr., as much to tell you that we already have chills!
In the meantime, we learned that actress Katja Herbers will join the cast of Westworld for this second season and that Louis Herthum and Talulah Riley will become recurring in the series. Filming resumed a few days ago, so we expect to learn more very soon.
Season 2 of Westworld is expected for 2018 on HBO!
