Vince Gilligan, the creator of the television masterpiece Breaking Bad, is currently preparing a new series for HBO, called Raven.
The mini-series will revolve around the People's Temple sect, known for the mass suicide of nine hundred people in Guyana in 1978. The plot is inspired by the testimony of one of the survivors, Tim Reiterman, Raven: The Untold Story of Jim Jones and His People, which also portrays the leader of the cult, Jim Jones. To do this, Gilligan will once again surround himself with producer and director Michelle MacLaren, director, and Octavia Spencer, co-producer (her appearance in the series has not yet been announced).
