The first images of The Sinner arrive!
In January, we learned that USA Network was going to launch a brand new anthology series, The Sinner. For now, we don't have a launch date yet, but we console ourselves with the release of a first trailer.
The Sinner will be an opportunity to find actress Jessica Biel (7th Heaven, New Girl) in the role of a young mother. Suddenly seized with an unexplained rage, she commits an act of violence and is totally unaware of the reasons that led her to do so. An investigator, Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman – Independence Day: Resurgence), becomes obsessed with what could have driven her to crime and decides to go in search of the truth with her.
The Sinner will offer for its first season a complete plot, entirely scripted by Derek Simonds (Seven and a Match). The series will be an adaptation of Petra Hammesfahr's 2007 novel The Sinner . Alongside Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman, Christopher Abbott (Girls), Teri Wyble (Powers), Patti D'Arbanville (Rescue Me), Abby Miller, Eric Todd (A cure of life) and Dohn Norwood (Hell on Wheels) will complete the cast.
