Produced by Federation Entertainment in association with The Oligarchs Productions, the project is currently in development. Alex Berger, the show's producer, and Alex Rochant, the creator and showrunner, said Monday during a third season presentation:
"An American remake project is indeed in the works and should be called The Department. Eric Rochant and I will remain executive producers, we will have our say. The series will be written by a first-rate showrunner, who is a former journalist. »
