It was Shawn Levy, producer and director of the series, who had said a few weeks ago that the number of episodes would be between 8 and 9. The first option was finally confirmed by TV line. Filming is expected to begin in April and some information has been leaked about this long-awaited third season.

Will byers - Stranger things season 2

As indicated in the last episode of season 2, our young heroes will have to face a new threat of a slightly different nature. Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) finally find some serenity? In addition, the series could jump back in time and take place in 1985, to the delight of fans of the Goonies and Back to the Future. Finally, Shawn Levy also confirmed that the subject of children similar to Eleven would be more thorough.

From the point of view of Dan Cohen, executive producer of the series, season 2 had taken the elements of season 1 in bigger: more monsters, bigger, a bigger threat,… Fans of the series may therefore be surprised by a season 3 that will include a new story, a new beginning.

New members will join the cast, but you'll have the pleasure of joining Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalie Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, and Sadie Sink. So, impatient?
