Sean Penn will star in Hulu's upcoming series "The First"

As reported by TVLine, the famous American actor Sean Penn has officially signed to be the headliner of the next series The First in preparation at the American network Hulu. 

Undisputed actor on the big screen and two-time Oscar winner, Sean Penn is about to return to service. And this time on television in a leading role.

Indeed, he will be the star of the next series broadcast on Hulu called "The First". Developed by Beau Wilimon who many know as the creator of the hit political drama House of Cards (Netflix), The First will feature man's first mission to Mars. The series will focus not only on his life on the Red Planet, but also on his relationships with his family, loved ones, and crew members back on Earth. 

Beau Willimon did not hide his enthusiasm for working with Sean Penn :

"I have a lot of admiration for him and his immense career. I am very fortunate to collaborate with an artist of his caliber." 

As a reminder, Sean Penn has already made a few appearances on the small screen. You have probably already seen him in one of the episodes of How I Met Your Mother (CBS), Friends or Two and a Half Men. 

The First is announced for 2018 on Hulu.
