Broadcast on the American channel CBS in the summer, the series Zoo has just been canceled.
Adapted from the eponymous novel by James Patterson, the American series Zoo will not have a fourth season. It is the American channel CBS that announces to put an end to the series, leaving the fans orphaned. After a rather qualitative first season although moving away from its basic material, Zoo has sunk into unflattering plots. The revival of the third season, whose action takes place a few years later, will not have been enough to save the series.
The Zoo series took us to the four corners of the world, where animals begin to become extremely aggressive towards humans for an unknown reason. In Botswana, American biologist Jackson Oz witnesses a violent lion attack and saves a French tourist, Chloé Tousignant, who is none other than an agent of the French secret service. At the same time in Los Angeles, blogger Jamie Campbell is trying to bring down Reiden Global, a powerful biotech company with questionable methods… We could find in the cast of Zoo some heads known to the seriphiles: James Wolk (Mad Men), Kristen Connoly (House of Cards) or Billy Burke (Revolution).
Zoo was broadcast since June 30, 2015 on CBS and in France, the first season was broadcast in prime time on TF1 in December of the same year. The fall in audiences (2.8 million viewers for the finale of season 3) will have got the better of her.
Fans of CBS summer series will be able to console themselves with the renewal of the series Salvation, with Santiago Cabrera, for a second season.
