After having a lot of success with zombies, AMC decided to invest in vampires by ordering 10 episodes of its new series NOW4A2. Described as a "Neo-Vampire Horror Drama" series, we are curious to know what is behind this enigmatic title.

This series is based on a short story by Joe Hill published in 2013, NOS4A2 (to be pronounced aloud to grasp the great vampire reference) and tells the story of Vic McQueen, a young artist who discovers that she has supernatural powers allowing her to hunt down Charlie Manx, the great villain of the series. And to be evil, he is! Charlie Manx is described as an immortal being who feeds on the souls of children and deposits what remains of them at Christmasland, a completely twisted Christmas village imagined by the creature. Nice, right?

The pilot was written by Jami O'Brien (Fear the Walking Dead) who will be showrunner on the other episodes. "NOS4A2 continues AMC's tradition of immersive drama that combines a supernatricalstory with relatable relationships and broad emotional themes," said David Madden, president of programming at AMC. "Jami O'Brien and the editorial team have thrilled Joe Hill 's incredible story by adapting it for the small screen, and we're excited to make this new series devilishly unique under the shingles of AMC Studios, in association with Tornante."
