Mankiewicz, screenwriter of Orson Welles' cult Citizen Kane , promises an exciting trip to the old Hollywood of the 40s that all moviegoers are eager to discover. Thanks to its photography and sound design, the film is already unanimous among American critics. Head over to JustFocus for a full review of what could just be one of the biggest films of the year!

The Prom – December 11

Adapted from the Tony Award-nominated musical of the same name, The Prom tells the story of four struggling movie stars who help a young Indiana high school girl who is struggling to go to prom with her girlfriend. The promise of a beautiful show directed by Ryan Murphy (to whom we owe among others Glee, American Horror Story and Ratched) with Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and James Corden, available from December 11 on Netflix.

Midnight in the Universe – December 23

George Clooney returns to space with his new movie Midnight in the Universe. Netflix exclusive, the multi-award-winning director-actor and director's post-apocalyptic tale based on Lily Brooks-Dalton's novel of the same name will tell the epic story of Augustine, an Antarctica-based scientist who, after a terrible disaster on Earth, must prevent an astronaut crew from returning to this planet with no future. To see how Clooney's film manages to stand out from others of the genre.

A Ghost Story – December 24

Three and a half years after its theatrical release, David Lowery's unique film starring Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck arrives on Netflix. The story of mourning and time, focusing on the simplicity of a childish white sheet and fixed shots like the most poetic in cinema in recent years, is told in this multi-awarded film at the Deauville festival.
