Lucifer: Will our favorite devil be back soon?

Lucifer is a real textbook case in the universe of series. Remember: the series was canceled in 2018 after four seasons at Fox. Fans then embarked on an ambitious online #SaveLucifer campaign, which eventually led Netflix to resume the show for a fifth season. Lucifer season 5 was supposed to be the last before rumors about the possibility of a season 6 began to surface. While fans were on a small cloud, season 6 of the show found itself in the hot seat following a contractual dispute. Indeed, negotiations for the salary of Tom Ellis would have failed endangering season 6. Have you also been a little lost? No worries, at Just Focus we make you a little recap of what is said about the next two seasons on Netflix.

The famous season 6

Let the fans be reassured, it seems that our imp of Tom Ellis has finally managed to find an arrangement with his producers. According to TVLine, even if the series has not yet been ordered by the streaming platform, the interpreter of Lucifer and the entire cast seem completely up for a season 6. On Twitter, most of the "Lucifans" are delighted even if some still express some reservations… https://twitter.com/TheCWNews1/status/1266668391517114369?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1266668391517114369&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fmcetv.fr%2Fmon-mag-culture%2Fmon-mag-serie-tv%2Flucifer-saison-6-fans-rejouissent-possible-prochaine-saison-31052020%2F This reflection is not completely absurd. Indeed, some series sometimes drag on and very often in these cases the plot no longer follows and the series loses its fans! We think for example of Outlander and its lastseason which has not completely convinced. Especially because of its lengths and episodes that do not really advance the plot.

What about Lucifer season 5?

Season 5 is expected to have 16 episodes, broadcast in two parts. It doesn't have an official release date yet. According to the actors, the filming of the first part is finished. But not that of the second. But that doesn't stop Netflix parody accounts from giving fans false hope. They let false rumors disperse… Like that of a season 5 on July 24. https://twitter.com/NetflixFR/status/1265579429985689600?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1265579429985689600&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fmcetv.fr%2Fmon-mag-culture%2Fmon-mag-serie-tv%2Flucifer-saison-5-nouveaux-episodes-diffuses-28052020%2F But as Netflix points out so well, this information is false and no release date has yet been communicated. Meanwhile, some wonder if we will have the chance to see the character of Lucifer in another crossover of the Arrowverse. At JustFocus, we loved that first cameo. We'd love to see Luci's constant teasing brighten up the crossovers of our favorite series. For those who have not yet been able to taste the stripping humor of this series the first four seasons are available on Netflix!
