Your attention, undisputed fans of Sense8 ! You who were heartbroken when Netflix announced the cancellation of the series and who recovered with difficulty when the platform promised a final episode of two hours to close the adventure, prepare to jump for joy. Cast Brian J. Smith (Will), Max Riemelt (Wolfgang) and Toby Onwumere (Capheus) as well as showrunner Lana Wachowski were present at the Vancouver Gay Pride, much to the delight of Canadian fans of the series. On this occasion was organized a live interview on Facebook during which Lana Wachowski launched a sentence that had the effect of a bomb: "I believe so much in the fans of the series, in the mass effect they are able to create, that I take the lead and write a whole season 3. »

Despite this wonderful news, Netflix maintains for now the only final episode that will finish the series. It remains to be seen if, after this sensational announcement, fans will remain calm and not create a new wave of petitions, requests and hopes around the series. Sense8 was canceled largely because of its production costs, which is why the hypothesis of a season 3 remains very far away…
However, to celebrate the anniversary of the sensitive in the universe of the series on August 8, 2017, the Netflix platform broadcast a 15-minute mini-documentary to celebrate the success of Sense8 but also to thank fans around the world for their support and love for the series. Through short and very touching videos of the team of the series (both the actors and actresses and the different teams behind the camera), this documentary gives a pretty good idea of the power of the series and the impact it has had on its audience. We also learn that the script of the closing episode of Sense8 should be completed by the end of this week…
