All good things must come to an end. Broadcast on Netflix since 2018, The New Adventures of Sabrina will stop soon. Indeed, the VOD platform decided to cancel the series after 4 seasons. The last season will be broadcast towards the end of the year.

"The New Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin of the adventures of Sabrina, the apprentice witch, as a dark coming-of-age story through horror, occult science and of course, witchcraft. Sabrina struggles to reconcile her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while opposing the forces of evil that threaten her, her family and the mortal world." The New Adventures of Sabrina is a new version of the comic book Sabrina, the Witch's Apprentice. This Netflix version opts for a darker and more mature approach. Indeed, we see in particular gore scenes and references to Satanism. It is also the second live-action adaptation of Sabrina. It comes after the sitcom Sabrina the Witch's Apprentice, which aired from 1996 to 2000. 
While rumors about a spin-off between Sabrina and Riverdale began to emerge on the net, Netflix decided to cut short all speculation by canceling the program. Very appreciated by teenagers, the series still had a bright future ahead of it. However, it is without rancor for showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa, who said: "Working on The New Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from day one. The cast, including Kiernan, everyone's favorite teen witch, was a real pleasure. I'm very grateful to the crew, the writers, the assistants and everyone who put so much love into this show." Hard blow for the latter, because he also has to manage the stop of his other series Katy Keene, spin-off of Riverdale, after only one season. undoubtedly… For now, Netflix has not yet announced the broadcast of the last part of The New Adventures of Sabrina.
