After Umbrella Academy, Netflix is betting on another project of adaptation of independent comics far from the usual standards of the Marvel and DC Comics series… Jupiter's Legacy, a comic book by Mark Millar released in 2015 arrives on May 7 on Netflix. A series adaptation that should satisfy fans of the superheroic genre.
A tantalizing cast?
On paper, the cast of Netflix's new superheroic series doesn't promise anything good for an adaptation of an independent comic-book by Mark Millar. With Jupiter's Legacy, the American platform reveals in the skin of its superheroes, Josh Duhamel (Transformers), Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Ben Daniels (The Crown), Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall) and Matt Lanter (90210: new generation). Despite the presence of British actor Ben Daniels, noticed in the hit British series The Crown, the cast does not match the features of the comic. In the role of The Utopian, we find the American actor Josh Duhamel, in the role of Brainwave, Ben Daniels, Lady Liberty is Leslie Bibb, Elena Kampouris is the daughter of the main character and Matt Lanter plays Skyfox. The slogan of this new series is "No legacy is eternal", to see if the series will be after its first broadcast on May 7.

An adaptation of a comic book by Mark Millar
It's never easy to see a comic book, book or video game that you enjoy being adapted for film or series. We fully understand the fears of fans since many projects fail to fully transcribe the essence of the original work. On Jupiter's Legacy, however, we can have some guarantees on the integrity of the material that arrives soon on Netflix since the two creators of the comic-book, Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, are among the executive producers. Two singular artists who have proven for many years their ability to create atypical projects. The British author stands out through productions like Kingsman and Kick-ass by his irreverent tone. We do not feel it through the trailer, but it is a safe bet that the register of heroes in tights is particularly scratched in this ambitious project. If you can't get enough of multiple superhero series, focus on The One. Brief written by Agathe Devignot and Mazarine Billard
