Julia Roberts is about to invade the small screen!
American actress Julia Roberts is currently working on two television series, one as a producer and the other as a lead actress. The first, which is scheduled for HBO, is called Today Will Be Different. Adapted from a bestselling novel by Maria Semple published in 2016, this mini-series will follow a woman looking to spend the best day possible, except that life will decide otherwise.
Another project and not least with Homecoming, the new series produced by Sam Esmail, the creator of Mr Robot. In it, Julia Roberts will play an employee of a secret section of the government who helps soldiers reintegrate into society. Homecoming is adapted from the eponymous podcast where Catherine Keener (The Croods) played this role. The series will be overseen and written by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, the creators of the podcast. At the moment, no strings are attached to the project.
Julia Roberts (who has just been voted the most beautiful woman in the world!) will therefore be very present on American television in the coming months. It must be believed that his experiences on the series Friends in 1996 and New York Police Judiciaire in 1999 were profitable to him!
