Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) joins the cast of The Boys

The final episodes of Supernatural will air this fall, on October 8. These will close the fifteenth and final season of the famous fantasy series. The interpreter of Dean Winchester was quick to announce his next project on his Instagram account.  In a short video, Jensen Ackles seemed to be wondering about his future as an actor. Indeed, the series is the adaptation, and is intended to be a satire of superhero stories. Its tone is deliberately humorous, and its atmosphere more violent than that of other series of the genre.

Jensen Ackels will be Soldier Boy in season 3 of The Boys

After starring in Smallville in the early 2000s, Jensen Ackles returned to the superhero series genre, having also auditioned for the role of Clark Kent. He announces that he will be part of the cast of season 3 of the superhero series. He will play Soldier Boy, a kind of Captain America from The Boys, a veteran of the Second World War. In addition, the name of Erick Kripke is certainly familiar to viewers of Supernatural. He is also one of the creators of The Boys, and this series will be the second cooperation between the two men. After the success of Supernatural, it promises to be successful. Before discovering Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, we will have to wait. Writing for the third season is still ongoing, so filming hasn't started yet. The second season of The Boys will be online on Amazon Prime Video starting September 4.
