Puerto Rican-American actress Lauren Vélez has joined the cast of the third season of the drama How To Get Away With Murder.
After the recent announcement of the return of T. A. Knight in The Catch, a series created and produced by Shonda Rhimes, it is the turn of another series developed again by the latter to formalize the arrival of a new actress to its cast. It is indeed Lauren Vélez aka Maria LaGuerta in the series Dexter who has just signed to appear in several episodes of season 3 of How To Get Away With Murder whose filming should not be long in beginning.
Indeed, Lauren Vélez will be the president of the University where Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) worked before she becomes complicit in the incessant problems of her small band of students.Her character is described as a confident, friendly and diplomatic woman.
In addition to her role in Dexter, Lauren Vélez has also been seen in other series such as Ugly Betty or Law & Order: SVU.
As a reminder, season 3 of How To Get Away With Murder will begin on September 22 in the United States on ABC.
