The production of the series Homeland has just formalized the arrival in the cast of actress Elizabeth Marvel who has been chosen to play the role of the first woman president of the United States of America in the sixth season of the political drama.
A month ago, Claire Danes, the interpreter of Carrie Mathison in the series Homeland revealed that it would be a woman in charge of the White House in the next season 6 of the show. An announcement made in order to see the next plot stick as close as possible to reality, because as you have known for a day (if we want to be meticulous), it is Hillary Clinton who has been officially chosen to represent the Democratic Party in the next US presidential elections to be held next November.
To slip into the skin of this character, the choice of the production fell on the actress Elizabeth Marvel who is a regular on the small screen. The actress has already made a few appearances in another successful political series, namely House of Cards on Netflix as the character of Heather Dunbar. Recently, she was seen in the series Fargo.
As a reminder, season 6 of the series Homeland will be launched next January on the American channel Showtime.
