The undisputed success of Get Out has propelled Jordan Peele to the rank of the most sought-after directors. He is currently working on several projects that are in line with the theme of his latest film. According to the media deadline, he would be about to develop The Hunt which will see him work in a completely different register.
It is through his production company Monkeypaw that he works on a particularly innovative subject in the world of series. The plot will focus on a group of Nazi hunters in the 70s. One suspects that the motives of these men will push them to use all possible means to achieve their goals. The story would be based on real events where many war criminals were hunted down by this organization.
Given the topics explored, The Hunt will not be on the usual channels. It will certainly be coveted by cable channels such as HBO or Showtime who will face formidable competition from Netflix and other others. We do not currently have any information on the casting.
Jordan Peele on all fronts
The man is one of those artists capable of working on several fronts at once. Outside of The Hunt, he is producing the upcoming Spike Lee, Black Klanswan, which deals with a black police officer infiltrating the racist Ku Klux Klan organization. He also worked on Atticus Black, a major project commissioned by HBO.
