The American giant Netflix has just revealed the identity of the cast members of its new production Friends From College which includes the charming actress Cobie Smulders, known for her role as Robin in How I Met Your Mother.
While most of its many series are expected for this fall (Luke Cage for example), the streaming platform Netflix continues to order new productions, some of which promise to be interesting. This is the case of his new comedy entitled Friends From College, created by Nick Stoller (The Grinder) and Francesca Delbanco. If no release date has been announced for the moment, Netflix has also given some details about the members of the cast of the series.
Friends From College, whose first season will include 8 episodes will feature Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Keegan Michael-Key (Kee & Peele's), Fred Savage (The Grinder), Nat Faxon (Ben and Kate's), Annie Parisse (Person of Interest) and Jae Suh Park (The Mindy Project).
As its title suggests, Friends From College , which marks the real return of Cobie Smulders to television, two years after the end of How I Met Your Mother, will follow a group of friends who went to Harvard together and now face the difficulties of quarantine. In its press release, Netflix was very enthusiastic about its new comedy. Like its casting, this can probably be understood, but it remains to be verified at the time of the broadcast of the series …
Filming for the series will begin this fall in New York.
