While Scandal comes to an end next April, one of its actresses quickly signed for a new series! Indeed, Bellamy Young (Mellie Grant) leaves the White House, but not ABC!

Bellamy Young traces his career by signing the star role of the pilot False Profits produced by ABC tells us TVLine. This comedy series is described as the fusion of Desperate Housewives and Glengarry Glen Ross. False Profits follows a group of suburban Arizona women who fight to be the best at selling cosmetics. Bellamy Young will play Laura, a single mother with two children who just signed on to sell cosmetics with no idea how to go about it.

For the realization of the pilot, it is Kayla Alpert (Code Black) who will be at the controls. Bellamy Young joins the cast alongside Kosha Patel (GirlBoss) and Kapil Talwalker as regulars.

As for Bellamy Young, she is currently ending her seven-season series as former first lady/current president, Mellie Grant on ABC. Joe Morton, father of Olivia Pope in Scandal, has also signed a new pilot to join the cast of the CBS comedy-drama God friended me
