"We are a family, we stick together. Why do you think we are called the Lyons?». As usual, Cookie finds the perfect words to explain the situation and it is with these sentences that begins this great trailer of season 4 of Empire.
The Lyons are soon back and to make us wait, FOX has finally unveiled the trailer of this fourth season which will focus, in the first place, on the situation of Lucious. Remember, the latter had been the victim of an accident when his car exploded close to him. The third season ended with a time-jump a few weeks later where Lucious finally wakes up but no longer recognizes anyone.
This fourth season will also begin on a time-jump since the first episode will take place during the 20th anniversary of Empire. Event all the more expected as Lucious will make his first public appearance since his accident. This trailer shows us the crowd chanting the name of the rap legend but also sadder passages and high-caliber guest stars such as Demi Moore and Forest Whitaker.
The message of this trailer is clear, however: Family. We hear Lucious say that he has the love of his family who supports him and Cookie says that Lucious means everything to her and her sons. Does this season mark the end of petty bickering within the Empire? We don't know… But in the face of different external threats (like this nurse… rather special), the Lyons are right to offer a united front! The creators of the series have also confirmed that this season will have fewer guest-stars than the previous ones and will re-focus exclusively on the Lyons family – for our greatest pleasure!
Season 4 of Empire will begin on September 27 with a 2-hour crossover with STAR.
