Actor Taye Diggs joins the cast of season 3 of the series Empire on the American cable channel Fox in a major role.
As Lee Daniels, the creator of the series Empire announced a few months ago, the third season of the hit Fox musical hit will welcome many faces known to the general public. The arrival of a new personality announced a few minutes by the production only confirms the statements of the latter.
Indeed, Taye Diggs (Murder in the First, Rosewood) who is not unknown to viewers has just signed to appear in several episodes of season 3 of Empire. The actor will play the character of Angelo Dubois, a city councilor who studied law at the prestigious Harvard University and comes from a wealthy family. Instead of nurturing much more important ambitions such as becoming mayor of his city or governor of a state, Angelo Dubois wants to focus instead on community issues that affect his city and wants to follow in the footsteps of the one he considers a model, namely Barack Obama, the current President of the United States of America.
As a reminder, season 3 of the series Empire will begin on September 21 in the United States on Fox.
