Twin Peaks continues to mourn its actors. After the death of Miguel Ferrer last January, it is Warren Frost's turn to leave us…
The American actor died Friday, February 17 in his home in Middlebury (Vermont) at the age of 91 after a long illness. It was his son, Mark Frost, co-creator of the Twin Peaks series who announced the sad news in a statement:
"We are saddened today to announce the passing of our dear old father, Warren Frost. From the Normandy coast of D-Day to his 50-year career on stage and screen, he has remained the same humble boy from Vermont who taught us that a life dedicated to telling all the truths makes a real difference in the lives of others. We are grateful to have stayed with him as long as possible. "
At the age of 17, the young Warren had enlisted in the American Navy to participate two years later in the American landing in Normandy, on June 6, 1944. He made his first appearances as an actor in Perry Mason and Make Room for Daddy which earned him a place in David Lynch's series, co-created by his son, Twin Peaks.
Warren Frost will not be able to attend the return of this series which will broadcast its third season next May. 35 years later, Frost has reprised his role as Dr. Hayward who will return with the full cast on May 21 on Showtime.
